LinSig3 User Group (Australia/New Zealand)
Quay West Suites Auckland
LinSig is a comprehensive design and modelling package for traffic signal intersections. It may be used to design and evaluate stand-alone intersections or combinations of giveway and signalled intersections within a coordinated network. LinSig is becoming increasingly popular in Australia and New Zealand and Spring 2012 will see the release of LinSig 3.2 which includes a number of new features designed to assist users in Australia and New Zealand. These include a new SCATS based controller model, the ability to import SCATS traffic flow data and improved modelling of double lane right turns. This user group is intended to provide an overview of LinSig's capabilities concentrating on those relevant to users in Australia and New Zealand, especially those introduced in LinSig 3.2. The user group is also intended to provide an opportunity for users to give feedback on how well the new features fit their needs and what further features they would like to see in LinSig. The opportunity will also be taken to explain our strategy for the next major version of LinSig which will introduce significant new modelling capabilities.
