The 14th Symposium & Exhibition

2009 was our first year at the University of Hertfordshire which turned out to be an excellent move. We experienced great facilities, a huge lecture hall all to ourselves complete with extensive audio-visual support and superb levels of service from the conference hertfordshire staff - just take a look at the feedback we got from our delegates.

The full schedule of events featured a symposium programme of over 20 presentations on various topics of traffic signals engineering, a popular exhibition featuring the primary manufacturers of traffic signals equipment and software and social events in the evening including a barbecue, gala dinner and in recognition of the venue's association with the de Havilland Aircraft Company, we also arranged a flight competition. You can see photos from the event in the 2009 symposium gallery.

This year we also co-located the lunch venue with the exhibition to maximise exposure between delegates and manufacturers and allow everyone to enjoy their lunch without rushing between dinner hall and exhibition room. 2009 is also the first year we have filmed proceedings and video of selected papers together with PDF copies are available where the author has given their permission.

Even though the 2009 Symposium is now over the following resources are available to provide follow up information:
