Course tutor: John Nightingale MSc(Eng), CEng FIHE MCIHT

John is a Director of JCT, he joined JCT in January 2008 following 13 years of experience in both local government and traffic signal contracting. John's introduction to the traffic engineering industry was as a contracting engineer giving him a particular insight in the practical aspects of installation and maintenance of signals. His tenure in local government gave him experience in a broad range of traffic engineering including accident investigation and road safety audit as well as signals design and modelling.

Course tutor: Paul Moore

Paul jointly founded JCT in its current form in 1996 having previously had over 5 years experience in transportation and traffic modelling working for a major UK Consultancy. In this role Paul both built and maintained a number of SATURN strategic transport models as well as working in other areas such as traffic signal design and modelling, Transport Assessment preparation and checking, preparation of data for public inquiry, scheme economic assessment, risk assessment, and software development. In his role at JCT Paul wrote the original windows version of LinSig and now has overall responsibility for software development within the company as well as being more widely involved in the management of the company.
